Seahorse Necklaces

Mom had quite a few Seahorse necklaces.

I made a couple of Seahorse necklaces from polymer clay.

And when a student came to school with a Seahorse necklace, I had to take a picture.

My mother loved Seahorses.

Some of her Seahorses were decorative, but some were also practical. I wonder if she ever combed her hair with his one?

I could use this bell in my class.

She had quite a few Seahorse pins. I love this long, thing one.

Male Seahorses have a pouch on their stomachs to carry babies. The female deposits her eggs in the pouch. Daddy carries the babies, as many as 2,000 at a time, from 10-25 days. This Seahorse looks like its about ready to give birth.

Do you suppose this Seahorse is going to have red babies?

Tangram Designs ~ Set II

Robots are popular with kids (me, too!) I wouldn't mind having a robot to help me out in the classroom.

This is a monster. It's one of the cutest monsters I've ever seen.

Would you like to take a ride on a boat or a roller coaster?

Cat and dog. Not sure which is which.

Doghouse. Looks perfect for both the cat and dog.

Watch out for this rocket.

And really watch out for this spaceship. It seems to be headed right for someone's house!

Of all the wonderful creations my students did, this is my favorite. It's a Haunted House. Pretty scary, eh?
