Everyone knows about the train. But no one knows what happened after. The truth is about to come out.
Anna, my grandmother used to buy marzipan fruit, identical to your photos. I haven't seen it available for many years in my side of the world. You've brought back a very sweet memory for me.Sam
I'm glad it was a sweet memory. Did you eat the marzipan fruit? I still haven't tasted it. They look so pretty in the box, I don't want to mess them up.
Oh most certainly yes! My gran and I were the only two in our large family who loved marzipan. I know my gran got a lot of joy from having someone with whom she could share confectionary. You know how yummy things taste even better when shared? That was us!I suggest keeping the box until close to the best-before date, if you can resist the temptation!I'm going to search the stores for marzipan fruit. I think it's something I should introduce to my children.Sam
How wonderful! When I bite into the fruit, I will be joining you and your gran in spirit. :)
