Roasted White Acorn Squash

I was recently given two squashes which I believe are White Acorn Squash. Aren't they pretty?

And so pretty on the vine.

I decided to roast one. I cut it in half and roasted it for about an hour at 400°.

I then put butter on them and sprinkled sugar on one half.

Salt and pepper on the other.

Do they look delicious? They were!

What better to salt and pepper my White Acorn Squash than Giraffe #267?
