Christmas Music Boxes

On Christmas Eve, I looked at house decorations with my family. It was so much fun to see how imaginative and complex people had been in decorating their homes. Some people had really cute Christmas villages.

My favorite thing was these beautiful music and decorative Christmas boxes.

How much I would have loved to go inside and look at each music box. They were so different than any I'd seen before.

Angels Fly High

My neighbor teacher has her students do projects with their parents. This month they created angels. Aren't they pretty?

One morning this week I walked to my class and there was Santa, hiding out in the hall, waiting for our Christmas program to begin. Looks like he's almost ready to go for a sleigh ride.

Giraffe on the Tree

I found this picture in a Christmas cookie book. The expressions on the faces of the three giraffes are so funny.

Giraffe #302 is my own Christmas cookie ornament. He looks a little goggle eyed, don't you think?

Party Time

We had our staff party at a colleague's house. I had such fun taking pictures of the beautiful decorations, even the paper plates and napkins.

The gingerbread man placemats were so pretty. I'd like to make some.

I've never seen Christmas ornaments this big. They made the tree look like it came from a decorating magazine.

There were other really cute ornaments.

The miniature trees were adorable.

The only thing missing was a giraffe. Luckily I was wearing Giraffe #301.

Fake Fruit

Every Christmas I see cute little Marzipan fruits in stores and think about buying some. Finally I did. Now I'm not sure if I should eat them or just look at them.

O Christmas Tree

I love looking at decorated trees. I saw these at a shop and had to take pictures. Aren't they beautiful?

This peacock feather ornament is gorgeous.

I bought a little silver tree for my classroom. My students love it. They also like the small house. I told them that I live in the house and when they go home I make myself tiny so I can fit in it. They're sure I'm teasing. Almost sure, anyway.

I like my tree serving plate.

I saved this box because of the pretty tree on it.

This little bear decided to be a Christmas tree.

This tree opens up.

This one is part of a set that includes my tiny house.

Former students gave me these tree ornaments.

A musical tree ornament.

Giraffe #300 loves trees, too.
